an odd assortment of puzzling clues

common in dreams, notebooks, and mind-maps.

Cascading slide into chaos and angst

or clamoring tunes of lost hope and song

a transmission sounding more like noise

than the sliding strings of a lone banjo.

Dreaded sticky notes mark fragments

colored paper stacked in daring patterns

random clippings scattered a messy prelude

not fit for compulsive writing strands.
