Poetry Publication Possibilities

POETRY PUBLICATION POSSIBILITIES

Where will your next spark of brilliance touch the world?

Have you considered writing poetry or prose?

What keeps you from submitting to contests or publications?

Do you write prose and poetic thoughts solely for your healing or for family and friends?

Today. Today while you ponder the possibilities of sending your prose into the world, consider the opportunities waiting for you.

STATE and NATIONAL SOCIETIES

Did you know each of the US States have poetry societies?

First of all, Check out the National Federation of State Poetry Societies for meetings, contests, and the annual conference. Then click on the link below to find your state’s society. If you join your state’s association, you are automatically eligible for membership in the national group. Plus, you can enter up to 50 poems in the annual contest for no more than 10 dollars! That is the bargain of the year for entry fees.

I have a grand total of THREE poems posted and one of them selected for a reading in September 2023.

Here is one of the Haiku submissions Move Me Poetry selected:

When September cries,
longings birth from tragedy.
Healing wings survive.

REVIEW: Here we are reminded that even the memorials of events can spur changes that are lasting and impactful, allowing the anniversaries to become moments of gratitude…
