Brainstorming Ideas

by Patricia Tiffany Morris

When the traditional weekly planner layout overwhelms, why not try a task a day brainstorming spread?

Better yet, do you need an accountability time to get your 2025 plans set up before the first of the year? Join me in Zoom on Sunday evenings in December and January.

If you are an existing subscriber, you’ll receive the updated Zoom link on December 15th. (The original link has expired.)

If you are a new subscriber, just email me from your newsletter.

I use a simple blank page, add a couple reminders in the margins, set up a box on the right side of the spread for next month’s tasks, and start with daily tasks. Sometimes I write down activities and jobs as I complete them. This provides a little variety and less stress to just get done small or large tasks.

Visual headers also help. And of course add your doodles while you track your jobs. I love stars when I can’t think of a clever monthly theme.

Non-bleeding markers, Prismacolor colored pencils, dot pages or bullet journal, extra paper, tabs, white paint pen, pencil and any other tools you would like to use.

Test your tools and markers on pages in the back of your journal or on separate dot paper. (Faint lined pages work well too.)
