Love Letters and Poems
My Love Letter to You:
As we gathered fruit and veggies from our gardens and prepared for winter, hoping for a reprieve in 2021, we had so much to be thankful for even in the trials of 2020.
The ravages of derecho’s power in the midwest, hurricanes blasting in the south and east, wild fires consuming furnaces in the west, and a return of Covid19 in pockets around the world.
We all question if this is near the end? It certainly is possible. But since no one knows the hour of the return of the Lord, let us strive to press forward and serve and love and give while we are blessed with the breath of life.
I pray for you this day. I pray for God’s love to shower you with hope and courage to ride out the storms of these crazy, horrible, messy days. One day we will be home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His love notes of compassion and holiness will be worth the wait through the storms of this earth.

Listening to the beat of another’s heart requires stillness.
Patience.
Compassion.
One solitary life gave His for mine and stirred wholeness.
Oneness.
Gratitude.
Virtue carved its place beside my heartache and rose with joy.
Holy.
Pure and bright.
Enduring love surrounds me and holds me eternally.
His child.
Forever.
