Gravity
GRAVITY
alone in a crowd
my hands lock
raise courage then lower my head
standing in front of the glass
push the frost
scrape frozen tears
shavings fall like snow
to a ground overflowing
running
still
and silent cries
more tears
reach my hands
empty
gravity pursues
dreams taunt under a paper mask
hide the dark and seek the Light
no fear no escape
step forward
gravity will surely propel me toward God
paralyzing doubts have no place in my journey toward hope today
