The Face of the Earth
The Face of the Earth
Deborah Raney’s book, The Face of the Earth, is absolutely an incredible story.
After I returned home from the Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writer’s Conference in North Carolina in May or 2019, I read The Face of the Earth in two short days.
Wow. I’ve read several different authors, different genres, and styles of writing, but this author writes with a remarkable, compelling voice. Her premise is incredible. What would you do if someone you loved appears to have vanished from the face of the earth? After noteworthy attempts to discover clues, her novel reads like a page from the national news. And what does it feel like when no clues are found? And everyone stops believing, searching, or supporting the search? I read with my heart wrenched and rooting for the family. I am forever changed by reading and pondering the questions presented in this brilliant work of contemporary life issues. You must read this book. I am clamoring for more of this author’s work. Well done!
