In May, I took additional classes on how to create a custom hand lettered font, created 5 or 6 new fonts, and am preparing video for my first Skillshare course on that platform.
I never knew how much I’d enjoy this process and the possibilities of using my own lettering on my social media graphics, in Canva, and in any software program that use fonts on my computer and iPad.
Of course the program would have to allow for importing fonts. Word, Powerpoint, Affinity Publisher, Procreate, Excel, Goodreads, and many, many more apps allowed me to import and use these custom fonts to help my work stand out from the crowd.
I created a font recently, to match an artwork cover design for Alisa Hope Wagner for her new release, Faith Aroma. She then created a short 1 minute book trailer using the artwork and font.
